Arunala Beach Resort is a Colonial style old bunglow overlooking Indian Ocean located southern part of the island a two hours drive south from Colombo, either along the costal road or by train, in a small, picturesque village called Balapitiya.

The main house was originally built in 1901 aacording to the dutch architecture elegantly  with light airy high ceilings surrounded by the four acres lush greenary tropical garden with hundreds palm trees.

There are two  villas set within the  Arunala Beach Resort . Guests may rent an entire villa or a suite within the villa. Larger groups (up to 10) can book both villas together.

Old Dutch  Villa -
The Old Dutch villa villa has 2 suites each with a double room and private ensuite facilities. The central living area comprising of a pretty terrace and beautiful arch which boasts the date the house was originally built  century ago is shared between the two suites offering plenty of rattan sofas and chairs for relaxing.

Sunset villa -
comprise of 3 large double rooms (one Air Conditioned) sharing a large  dining area, two lounges ,a bathroom and a kitchen. A balcony overlooking Indian ocean you could see the sun setting in the horizon every evening . This is ideal for family or group of friends Looking for shared accommodation at relatively lower cost.

All rooms have been renovated wonderfully and furnithed .

It can be your romantic hideway or a great part of family holiday or break with friends.you have a choice betwen two villas  according to your individual holiday need and preferences and or you can book entire house easily accomodate group of 10 at any given time.

Guests may rent an entire villa or a suite within the villa subject to availability
